A kid looking where is his family after going too far with his bike. Hopefully they weren’t far away! Shot in Cluj-Napoca’s Central Park, Romania, during a spring sunset. It’s a great place to walk by when the sun is going down: a lot of people go there for a walk, you can capture a bunch of nice or funny situation and portraits, and the light gets quite awesome.
I wished I’ve had more time to take another shot at f/11 in order to get a fully clear background, matching the kid’s look for his parent in the crowd, but a second later he was already back on his bike the his family.
This photo was processed in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Besides the classic workflow, I raised the temperature a bit in order to make it warmer, and I apply a slight cross process. Overall the photo is not very contrasty and a bit washed out, by choice, wanting to make a film-like feeling. That is how I like films.
